Okay, I’ve got to admit that I’m no doctor but I’ve been a believer in this for a long time. I’ve suffered as many other men have from acid reflux and indigestion. I have helped to contribute to shareholders of Tums and Rolaids for years. Yet as I’ve seen many men get prescription help for these problems, I’ve balked on going that route. Many tell me that it’s the fault of stomach acid for these ills and controlling them with stronger medicine is the only cure.
Well as anyone who has read my book, Safe 4 Retirement: The 4 Keys to a Safe Retirement will attest, I’m a big believer in that eating healthier will solve many health woes. So it was with much relief (sorry, I couldn’t resist) that I saw this article in the NY Times about how a low acid diet will actually help the acid reflux condition. The article lays out many specifics and it’s worth reading. I also want to highlight some Thanksgiving recipes that go along with this article found online as well.
What do you think of this?
